This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies exclusively to tallow skin balms and chapstick products manufactured, distributed, and sold by Tallow Daddy Co, a Colorado business entity operating in El Paso County, Colorado. This Policy governs all sales transactions, whether conducted in-person at our retail location, through our website at www.tallowdaddyco.com, or through any other authorized sales channel.

1.2 Policy Effectiveness and Updates

2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY AND DAMAGE CRITERIA

2.1 General Return Policy

NO RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS, OR REFUNDS are permitted under any circumstances except as specifically provided in Section 2.2 below. All sales are final unless the product meets the extensive damage criteria outlined herein. This restrictive return policy is implemented due to the personal care nature of tallow-based products and health and safety considerations.

2.2 Extensive Damage Exception

Returns, replacements, or refunds will be considered solely in cases where products have sustained extensive damage during shipping or handling that renders the product completely unusable. Extensive damage is strictly defined as:

2.2.1 Broken Container Damage: Complete breakage, shattering, or structural failure of the product jar, container, or packaging that results in the inability to contain or use the product safely.

2.2.2 Product Spillage Damage: Tallow product having spilled throughout the shipping container, packaging materials, or surrounding items to such an extent that the majority of the product is lost, contaminated, or rendered unusable.

2.3 Damage Documentation Requirements

To qualify for the extensive damage exception, customers must provide verifiable photographic or video evidence of the destroyed or heavily damaged product while still contained within the original shipping container and packaging materials in which it was received. This documentation must clearly demonstrate:

The extent of the damage as defined in Section 2.2

The product in its original shipping container

The condition of surrounding packaging materials

Any spillage or contamination that occurred during transit

2.4 Time Limitations for Damage Claims

Claims for extensive damage must be reported to Tallow Daddy Co within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery confirmation or receipt of the product. Failure to report damage within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of any return, replacement, or refund rights under this Policy.

3. RETURN PROCESS AND AUTHORIZATION

3.1 Return Authorization Requirement

All returns must receive prior written authorization from Tallow Daddy Co before any product is shipped back to our facility. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at the customer’s expense.

3.2.3 Await written confirmation of return authorization, which will include:

Return authorization number

Specific return shipping instructions

Return deadline (typically within ten (10) business days of authorization)

3.3 Proof of Purchase Requirements

An original receipt showing the date of purchase, items purchased, amount paid, and payment method is absolutely required for all return requests. No exceptions will be made for returns without original receipts, including gift purchases. Digital receipts, email confirmations, or bank statements are acceptable forms of original receipts provided they contain all required information.

3.4 Return Shipping Procedures

3.4.1 Customer Responsibility: Customers are solely responsible for all return shipping costs, insurance, and handling fees. Tallow Daddy Co will not reimburse or cover any return shipping expenses under any circumstances.

3.4.3 Shipping Requirements: All returns must be shipped via a trackable shipping method with delivery confirmation. Customers assume all risk of loss or damage during return shipment. Tallow Daddy Co is not responsible for returns that are lost, damaged, or delayed during transit.

4. REFUND PROCESSING AND PAYMENT METHODS

4.1 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed exclusively to the original payment method used for the purchase. No exceptions will be made for alternative refund methods unless the circumstances outlined in Section 4.2 apply.

4.2 Invalid Original Payment Method

In cases where the original payment method is no longer valid, expired, or otherwise unavailable, the customer must provide an alternative valid payment method for refund processing. Acceptable alternative methods include:

Valid credit or debit card in the customer’s name

Verified bank account information for electronic transfer

Other payment methods as approved by Tallow Daddy Co management

4.3 Refund Processing Timeline

Upon receipt and inspection of an authorized return that meets all requirements of this Policy, refunds will be processed within five to seven (5-7) business days. The actual time for funds to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment processor and financial institution involved.

4.4 Refund Amount and Fees

4.4.1 No Restocking Fees: Tallow Daddy Co will not charge any restocking fees for approved returns under this Policy.

4.4.2 Refund Calculation: Approved refunds will include the full purchase price of the damaged product(s) plus any applicable taxes paid. Original shipping charges, if any, will not be refunded unless the damage occurred due to Tallow Daddy Co’s negligence in packaging.

4.4.3 Processing Fees: Any processing fees charged by payment processors or financial institutions for refund transactions will be deducted from the refund amount.

5. EXCLUSIONS AND NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

5.1 Sale and Discounted Merchandise

All sale items, discounted products, clearance merchandise, and products purchased with promotional codes or coupons are final sale with absolutely no returns, exchanges, or refunds permitted, even in cases of extensive damage as defined in Section 2.2. This exclusion will be clearly marked on all sale items and promotional materials.

5.2 Custom and Special Order Items

Custom-formulated products, special orders, personalized items, and any products manufactured to customer specifications are not eligible for returns, refunds, or replacements under any circumstances. This exclusion applies regardless of damage, defects, or customer satisfaction.

5.3 Company Discretion Exceptions

In extraordinary circumstances, Tallow Daddy Co may, at its sole and absolute discretion, consider exceptions to the exclusions outlined in Sections 5.1 and 5.2. Such exceptions are rare and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis considering factors including but not limited to:

Severity of product defect or damage

Customer purchase history and loyalty

Circumstances surrounding the damage or defect

Potential health and safety concerns

Any discretionary exceptions granted do not establish precedent or create any obligation for future similar situations.

6. NO EXCHANGE POLICY

6.1 Prohibition on Exchanges

Due to the personal care nature of tallow-based skin products and associated health, safety, and hygiene considerations, Tallow Daddy Co does not permit product exchanges under any circumstances. This policy applies to all products regardless of reason for exchange request, including but not limited to:

Size or quantity preferences

Scent or formulation preferences

Color or appearance variations

Customer satisfaction issues

Gift exchange requests

6.2 Alternative Solutions

In lieu of exchanges, customers experiencing issues with their purchase are encouraged to:

The parties agree that any such invalid, illegal, void, or unenforceable provision shall be modified and limited in its effect to the extent necessary to cause it to be enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, shall be deemed severed from this Policy. In such event, Tallow Daddy Co shall have the right to replace any invalid, illegal, void, or unenforceable provision with a valid, legal, and enforceable provision that corresponds as closely as possible to the original intent and business requirements. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision in one jurisdiction shall not affect the validity or enforceability of such provision in any other jurisdiction.

9.4 Entire Agreement

This Policy, together with the terms of sale provided at the time of purchase, constitutes the entire agreement between Tallow Daddy Co and the customer regarding returns and refunds. This Policy supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to returns and refunds, whether written or oral.

9.5 Waiver

No waiver of any provision of this Policy shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Tallow Daddy Co.
